Introduction

The Fifth version of the national Built Heritage Forum soon will be launched at Qassim in the period of 17/02/1437 – 21/02/1437 (Nov.29th 2015 – Dec.3rd 2015), this event comes after four successful cycles of the forums at different areas of Saudi Arabia. In which, those forums have added a great values in the management of Built Heritage and pushed forward the development of this promising sector. It has also leaded to establishing of National Built Heritage Center and issuing of the “decree for Antiquities, museums and Built Heritage”.
The upcoming forum will move Built Heritage works from establishment stage into investment stage, and it matches the new working strategy of the National Built Heritage Center that focuses on shifting heritage sites from deterioration into investment ...
